Stella

Cherries
About our Cherries
The ‘Stella’ cherry is a much-loved sweet cherry. Its fruits are large, dark red, juicy, and delicious. They usually ripen towards the end of July.
This tree is very versatile and easy to look after. It responds well to pruning, which makes it great for shaping as a fan or espalier.
‘Stella’ is self-fertile (Pollination Group 4). That means it doesn’t need another cherry tree nearby and will still give you generous crops.
Picking Guidance
Our cherries are ready for harvest in late Harvest – July/August.
The best way to pick cherries is by pinching the stalk near the top and pulling gently to avoid damaging the twig.
